Hi, I'm Abbey.

I live in southern California with my firefighter husband, Daniel and our five-year-old, Kensington! She'll be starting Kindergarten this year and I plan to use this space in part to document our experience as new  homeschoolers. 

I grew up in Ohio and moved to California right before high school. 

I love coffee, grandma's recipes, 80's movies and 90's sitcoms, holidays (halloween especially), days at the beach, film photography and trips to Disneyland. 

I'm a homebody through and through and most days you'll find me cozied up with my most recent library haul. 

Sometimes I cook stuff, sometimes I craft stuff, I'm not always great at it but I'm a big believer in giving it your best go and rolling with the punches. 

I'm here to share a little bit about being a mom + homeschooling + life as a firefighter's wife + a few other fun things along the way.
